An increase in business homeworking requests may boost the demand for VoIP and hosted IP, it has been suggested.
Recent research by the CBI (Confederation of British Indursty) discovered that in the last four years alone the number of firms allowing employees to work from home and link back into the office has risen 46%.
Most business who approved homeworking did so by utilising VoIP telephony and a soft PBX, the CBI found.
This is a key indicator to how fast business are understanding and adopting the latest VoIP technologies.
