A recent report provided by Infonetics Investigate on VoIP, UC Services and Subscribers showed the VoIP promote groing to $20.7billion in the first half of 2009.
The majority share of the VOIP growth was primarily due to the residential sector which was up 14% when compared to the end of 2008, but business VoIP facts showed a slowdown in IP PBX growth, but a forcast of a 26% boost due to the growing popularity of Hosted VOIP & UC business solutions.
Diane Myers, The Directing Analyst of service provider VoIP and IMS at Infonetics Investigate, said “Demand for residential and business VoIP services continues to grow even as spending in other communication areas tightens.”
